STEP 1 – REGISTRATION

AASD Residents:

Complete online registration process

Registration will not be processed until:

  1. Course Request for one 0.5 credit course created through eSchool student online profile.
    • Course requests are subject to high school counselor review.
  2. Signed summer student contract is received by the eSchool office. ( Link to contract page )
  3. $40 non-refundable course fee is received with summer student contract in the eSchool office.


All registration materials must be turned in together
(drop off or mail). Checks payable to Appleton eSchool – 2121 Emmers Drive Appleton, WI 54915

Non-AASD Residents:

Complete online registration process

Registration will not be processed until:

  2. Signed local district site coordinator approval form is received by the eSchool office. (page 3 of student contract)
  3. Signed summer student contract is received by the eSchool office. (Link to contract page)

STEP 2 – ORIENTATION

Complete the Online Orientation Mini-Course for the summer session (Note: you will not have access to this course until April 26).

Students will be placed in their courses “1st come-1st serve” upon successful completion of the Online Orientation Mini-Course.  A final grade report will be emailed at the successful conclusion of the Online Orientation.  Some courses do fill and will not offer a wait-list.

If you are a NEW  eSchool student, face-to-face attendance is required for the First Day of Class Session on June 8.  Parent/Guardian attendance is not required.

Each course will have First Day of Class sessions on either the morning or evening of June 8. (Specific times will be listed in the online orientation class and posted on the website at a later date.) Attendance is required for new eSchool students.

HOW TO START YOUR SUMMER CLASS

If you have completed Step 1 and Step 2 of registration, follow these next steps.

New eSchool Students

Start their course following face-to-face attendance at a First Day of Class Session (FDC) on June 8 at Appleton North High School.

Returning Successful eSchool Students

May start their course remotely on June 8
Attendance on June 8 is optional

When you access your course, right away, be sure to:

Send your teacher an introduction email (introduce yourself, explain why you are taking an eSchool course, note when you are available for a welcome call, etc.)

Work through the teacher’s welcome folder in your requested course.

Click on your performance area to see your due dates and pace plan.

STUDENT NOTES

Students must complete all course requirements including completing their final exam in a proctored setting by July 19.

Students may take their proctored final exam early if the student is cleared by their teacher.
