Wisconsin residents student may enroll into Wisconsin public schools per State of Wisconsin Part-Time Open Enrollment & Open Enrollment Laws.

WHAT IS Part-time Open Enrollment?

Part-time Open Enrollment allows a pupil enrolled in a public school district to take up to two courses from an educational institution. 

  • The majority of students who participate with eSchool take one or two courses online during the school year as part of their academic experience while attending their main campus school.  Students are encouraged and asked to begin with one course to ensure a good fit before taking more than one.

WHAT IS OPEN ENROLLMENT?

The inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Any Wisconsin resident up to grade 12 may apply to attend a nonresident school district under the Part-Time Open Enrollment & Open Enrollment programs. Students are encouraged to participate in eSchool classes as part of their school experience in conjunction with their courses at their main campus school.

CAN APPLICATIONS BE DENIED?

Both the nonresident and resident school districts may deny an application for reasons specified in state law.  Courses offered are based on availability.
