Non-Appleton Area School District students must fill out Part-Time Open Enrollment (PTOE) paperwork to attend Appleton eSchool Summer Interim. Students attending private schools, but residing outside of AASD must also fill out the PTOE paperwork to attend eSchool Summer Interim.

The summer session online orientation becomes active to students after the access date listed on the eSchool key date time line.
You may not have access until later in the day. Accessing the online orientation at mid-night or early morning of the opening day is not recommended.
*NOTE: If in trying to open your orientation you are returned back to your dashboard, you may be using a guardian login. Only the student username and password will open the course. If you need help recovering your student login, try the forgot password link at the login page or contact the eSchool office.
If you have completed all registration steps, the orientation mini course will show online in your eSchool account dashboard just prior to the official first day of access according to the eSchool key date timeline. Link.
If you do not see the orientation, you may have an incomplete registration make sure you have turned in summer paperwork and the course fee. See registration details.
If we have received your online request and uploaded student contract (both in student’s eSchool profile), you will receive an email confirming the completion of registration. The course request status is also located in the dashboard within the eSchool student profile.

No. Beginning with the 2018 summer session, the summer session begins virtually for both new and returning eSchool students. Students are required to log in and start your course at some point during the virtual first day of class according to the key date timeline.
For those who have completed Step 1 of registration, this will be sent following enrollment into the orientation according to the official first day of access posted on the key date timeline.
Students will be allowed to select a different course based on availability. Students will have to decide prior to the deadline to complete the online orientation.
Students may take one half credit class per summer session. This class must be completed (both coursework and proctored exam) by the posted final day of the session.
No. Students must complete all course requirements including taking their exam in a proctored setting by the official completion of the summer session per the key date timeline.
Yes. Our key date timeline lists various alternative early exam dates.
Students may request a proctor at a library in their geographic area. Students are expected to communicate the proctor’s name, email address and phone number to their online teacher to coordinate access to the exam.
eSchool can work with summer plans as long as you commit enough time to your class. Plan for about 2.5 hours a day if you are working Monday through Friday. If you know you will be gone for 3 days, plan to work 5 hours a day for three days to be ahead so that you can have those days “off”.
