STEP 1 – REGISTRATION

AASD Residents:

Complete online registration process.

Registration will not be processed until:

  1. Course Request for one 0.5 credit course is submitted through eSchool student online profile.
    • Course requests are subject to high school counselor review.
  2. Signed summer student contract is uploaded to student eSchool profile.  ( Link to contract page )
It is recommended to use a desktop or laptop for requesting courses and uploading signed contracts as shown in the step by step video directions.

 

Non-AASD Residents:

Complete online registration process*.

Registration will not be processed until:

  1. Part-Time Open Enrollment (PTOE)** paperwork is signed, submitted to AASD enrollment department and accepted by AASD enrollment department.
  2. eSchool secretary will email family the AASD online registration link for Infinite Campus (After PTOE acceptance by AASD & non-resident school district).
  3. eSchool secretary creates eSchool profile for non-resident student. Login credentials will be emailed.
  4. Course Request for one 0.5 credit course is submitted through eSchool student online profile.
  5. Signed summer student contract is uploaded to student eSchool profile.  ( Link to contract page )

 

*Non-AASD residents attending a private school must private pay.

STEP 2 – ORIENTATION

Complete the Online Orientation Mini-Course for the summer session (Note: you will not have access to this course until April 22).

A final grade report will be emailed at the successful conclusion of the Online Orientation.  Completion of the online orientation course is required to be enrolled on June 5.

Virtual First Day of Class Session on June 5.

Each teacher will have specific directions for the virtual first day of class.  If you have specific questions, contact your teacher for details after you have received your enrollment email by June 2.

HOW TO START YOUR SUMMER CLASS

If you have completed Step 1 and Step 2 of registration, follow these next steps.

New eSchool Students

Start their course virtually on June 5.

 

 

Returning Successful eSchool Students

Start their course virtually on June 5.

When you access your course, right away, be sure to:

Send your teacher an introduction email (introduce yourself, explain why you are taking an eSchool course, note when you are available for a welcome call, etc.)

Work through the teacher’s welcome folder in your requested course.

Click on your performance area (gradebook) to see your due dates and pace plan.

STUDENT NOTES

Students must complete all course requirements including completing their final exam in a proctored setting by July 17.

Students may take their proctored final exam early if the student is cleared by their teacher.
