2023 Summer Interim Information

Registration Opens March 8

  • Select Appleton eSchool courses are available to incoming 9th – 12th grade students.
  • Students may take one 0.5 credit course during interim.
  • Qualifying students may take up to two 0.5 credit courses during interim. 
    • Qualifying = students with current or past proven success online with eSchool, WCA or 2020-2021 1st semester fully virtual with AASD (no failing (F, WF, etc) grades).
  • Students must successfully complete the summer interim online orientation mini-course to be enrolled into their requested interim course.
  • Students must successfully complete the final exam requirements to earn credit for the course.
  • 2023 Summer Interim, there is no course fee!
  • Wait-lists will be utilized as courses reach registration capacity.  Scroll down for details…

2023 Summer Interim course capacity & wait-lists:

Spots for summer interim courses will be assigned based on the time/date stamp of the electronic course request AND uploaded signed student contract into the eSchool student profile in the eSchool platform (Genius).

Acceptance into requested courses will be determined based on time/date stamp of the  electronic course request.

The signed student contract uploaded to the eSchool student profile must be completed within 48 hours to hold & confirm spot.  After 48 hours, the requests course spot will be released to other students.

Wait-lists will be assigned based on time/date stamp of electronic course requests.

Summer Interim Calendar Timeline

March

8 (7:00am) – Step 1 Online Registration Begins – Request Course in eSchool platform

April

12 – Step 2 Online Registration – Online Orientation Mini-Course Access Starts

 

May

31 – (3pm) Last day to request a summer class (3:00pm… Don’t wait, courses will fill)

June

1 – (10 am) Deadline to complete Online Orientation Mini-Course

5 – Virtual First Day of Class Meeting

19 – Drop date without academic penalty

July

6, 11 – Early final exam opportunities at East HS (details will be communicated) 

14 – Scheduled final exams for all students at North HS

17 – Summer Interim concludes
